Harvey Reyes


Javier, “Harvey”, like his friends call him, is a second generation plasterer. As an expert in the stucco application, he has worked for large plastering corporations such as Wentworth Plastering, Ralph Martin Construction, South Florida Stucco, and Meker Construction. For almost 20 years, Harvey has been with American Cement Company since 2012 he has held the title of Territory Manager/Field Specialist for South East Florida. His fluency in Spanish is paramount to communicate with a large Hispanic population.

Javier is responsible for promoting our Amstar stucco on jobsites, providing technical support to stucco contractors and generating submittals for new projects. Harvey enjoys playing golf, exercising and reading in his personal time.

Justin Fleming


Justin has been with American Cement Company since 2015 as the Sales Manager - Package Product, and has been in the building materials industry since 2003 with experience across multiple product lines and territories. He is also experienced in logistics, business to business sales, specifications, and policy change. He is involved in the Florida Lath and Plaster Bureau and Florida Concrete and Products Association and holds several industry certifications. Justin graduated from the University of Florida with a BS in Food and Resource Economics (FRE). Justin is a fourth generation Floridian and enjoys spending his free time with friends and family and being outdoors.

Marty Smith


Marty is a seasoned technical sales professional and has been in the concrete building products for over 30 years. He has been with American Cement Company since 2009 and has been in the cement industry for over 11 years.

He graduated from the University of South Florida with a BS in Marketing and an MBA from University of Phoenix. He is an active Mason and Shriner, and enjoys golf and family.

Rick Trammell


Rick has been with American Cement Company since 2011 as a Territory Manager/Masonry specialist. He covers Tampa To Marco Island on the Florida West Coast, promoting Amstar stucco and educating contractors on the multiple ASTM specifications. Rick is a true veteran in the Florida Stucco industry, having worked as a plasterer, Masonry Specialist and Territory Manager for over 25 years, he still holds his plastering Licenses.

Tim Rutherford


Tim is a seasoned technical sales professional and has been in the concrete building products for over 30 years. He has been with American Cement Company since 2010 and has been in the cement industry for over 16 years. He graduated from the University of Central Florida in 1985 with a B.S. in Engineering.

He is active in: ASTM C 11 Committee dealing with Stucco, ACI Local and past President, Florida Concrete Products Promotions and Technical, Florida Prestressed Concrete Association, and LEED. Tim enjoys golf, fishing, travel and spending time with the grand children.


Wayne Lowd


Wayne has touched every aspect of the plastering industry from contractor to manufacturer. He is a third generation plasterer from Miami with experience in interior and exterior plastering. He spent fifteen years plastering for his family business and numerous other plastering contractors. After moving to Central Florida in 1989 Wayne spent twenty years as a Masonry Specialist for Rinker Materials' Cement Division. Wayne has also worked in distribution and toured the lower forty-eight states hauling cargo. Wayne has been with American Cement Company as a Masonry Specialist since 2016.

Zachary Mestancik


Zachary Mestancik started his career in the concrete industry before college; then attended the Concrete Industry Management program at Middle Tennessee State University. He brings his technical expertise from working in multiple states with various regional materials and specifications. He has been in the field for over ten years and is now the Field Technical Services Manager for American Cement Company. He has been with American Cement Company since 2015.

He is involved in: Florida Lath and Plaster Bureau, Florida Concrete Products Association, American Concrete Institute, Holds Numerous ACI Certifications, FDOT Manager and Batchman Certification. Zak has interests in restoring and modifying cars, athletics, and enjoying the great outdoors.

Customer Service

Kaedee Khounpachamsy


Kaedee came on board with American Cement Company in 2014 in the role of Sales and Distribution Coordinator. She handles all incoming orders, assesses customer needs, determines product availability and coordinates deliveries. Kaedee is currently working to obtain her BA and when she’s not studying, she is exploring nature trails with her daughters.

Laura Mendez


Laura has been with American Cement Company since 2008 – before the first ton of cement was shipped. She moved her way up the ranks to her current position as Manager, Customer Support. She leads an inside sales team of Sales and Distribution Coordinators concentrating on customer service. She also manages all outbound freight and logistics. Laura is key in the marketing and promotional campaigns of American Cement and AmStar brands. Laura graduated from the University of South Florida, shortly before joining ACC, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology. If you talked with Laura, you’d recognize her by her quick wits and sense of humor.

Melissa Kraft


While new to the American Cement Company team, Melissa comes to us with over 12 years of experience in customer service. As a Sales and Distribution Coordinator, she handles all incoming orders, assesses customer needs, determines product availability and coordinates deliveries. Outside of work, she enjoys taking trips to the beach with her children.

Recently Retired

Steve French


Steve is a forty year plus veteran of the portland cement-based plastering industry. Steve gained his knowledge through years of working as a plasterer, rising to become superintendent of national wall and ceiling contractor E & K of Orlando. Over the years Steve contributed to the advancement of the industry through his involvement with ASTM, CSI, & the Florida Lath and Plaster Bureau. Steve started with American Cement Company in 2010 as the senior masonry specialist. Steve helped develop ACC’s package cement program and was the original face of AmStar Stucco Cement to the plastering trade. Steve utilized his vast technical experience and upbeat demeanor to cement the relationship between the manufacturer and the contractor. We at American Cement Company deeply appreciate Steve's years of hard work and dedicated service. We will miss Steve dearly and wish him many happy years in retirement.
